Financial Analysis

Return on Investment (ROI) is the benefit a person reaps from an investment divided by the initial cost of that investment and is expressed as a percentage. The benefit with a solar PV system includes the twenty year contract with the provincial government of Ontario to receive the tariff rate of $.802 per every kilowatt of power the system generated. The initial cost includes all the components associated with buying, installing, and connecting a solar PV system.

Cost of Solar PV installations

The size of the system (kilowatts) and the complexity of the installation drives the cost of a solar pv installation. Hence, you can say that no two system installations will cost the same price.

Solar panels and inverters, are the main components of a solar system. They make up the majority of the purchase price. In addition, at API, we manufacture our own line of racking system for various types of system installations and make and model of solar modules. This alone reduces the purchase cost we pass on to our customers.
