Domestic Content

To be eligible to participate in FIT Program the project should achieve a Minimum Required Domestic Content Level:

• For solar PV projects under microFIT program that reach commercial operation on or prior to December 31, 2010 the Minimum Required Domestic Content Level is 40%;
• For solar PV projects under microFIT program that reach commercial operation on or after January 1, 2011 the Minimum Required Domestic Content Level is 60%.

As your project developer, Alternate Power Internationational Ltd will make sure that you qualify for the Minimum Required Domestic Content Level. API not only met but exceeded Ontario Content requirement, by adding the fabrication of our own racking systems to our line of products and services.

API is able to fabricate the racking to supply our own projects as well as other renewable companies to aid them meet the Ontario content requirement.
